What Are Breaks?
Breaks allow collectors to purchase a share of sealed trading card products at a fraction of the cost of buying an entire box. Instead of keeping all cards, you receive all cards from the team(s) you select according to the break rules.
How It Works
- You are not purchasing sealed boxes or guaranteed hits.
- By buying a spot, you agree to receive all cards allocated to your chosen team(s) based on the break format.
- Breaks are streamed live on our Facebook group:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/208343499738183
- If you miss the live stream, the video will be saved in the group for later viewing.
Important Notes
-
All sales are final unless the break is cancelled or cannot be completed.
- Participation does not guarantee any specific card or dollar value. Some teams may receive no cards.
- Breaks are games of chance in terms of card allocation, but they are not gambling under Australian law because you are purchasing a share of sealed product.
- Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Break Rules
- Cards go to the team whose logo appears on the card.
- Multi-team cards are randomized live using random.org (minimum 3 times). The team in position 1 after the final randomization wins the card.
- Legacy teams (e.g., Hartford Whalers → Carolina Hurricanes) follow standard allocation rules.
- For All-Star, Olympic, or Junior cards:
- Drafted team; if undrafted →
- Current team; if retired →
- Team with most NHL games played.
- Random - Spots picked by Random.org
